  1. A few more I thought of that I enjoyed this year: The Savages, Brideshead Revisited, Smart People, Pan's Labyrinth, The Time Traveler's Wife (but the book was way better, as usual).

  2. Ok, I also think you should do books. Books that I've read last year, or begun last year and I'm finishing: The Road (bleak, but awesome), The life of Oscar Wao (awesome, the guy is brilliant).

Ok the movies: 500 days of Summer (top 5 for me, maybe even top 3 ever. I love that movie, Regina is in the soundtrack twice, so you know its good), The Invention of Lying (such a cool movie), The Blindside (ok acting, but overwhelming true story), Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (it was nice to see the two last movies done really well compared to the Goblet of Fire, and the first two movies). I wasn't a fan of Adaptation--it was rough; I wasn't entertained or appreciative. There will be Blood was great, everything about it was awesome. Awesome plot, awesome acting. The characters are amazing. Upton Sinclair's Oil is great, which the movie is loosely based on, but I'm also reading Sinclair's "the jungle" finally because I'm sick of the incredulous stares I receive from my uppity friends who say, "OMG, you haven't read it?!" Whatever...
The Hurt Locker was great, as was Naughty Nurses 8...I mean...Frost/Nixon...I loved the plot development? :)

  3. Top 10 books I read in 2009? I probably only read ten books all year and half were for school so I had no choice in the matter. I'll work on it.

    Andre,
I have 500 days at the top of my netflix queue...I LOVE Zooey Deschanel, she is so quirky cute. I liked her in "Gigantic" which I also watched in 09.

Naughty Nurses 8? Don't try to cover up that you are a girly boy at heart...you outed yourself by admitting your love for Regina. Plus, you love Once, which is uber romantic. Did I tell you I'm going to see Swell Season in Prague in a few weeks? I am so win.
